The Road to Armageddon:
The Insane Drive for American Hegemony Threatens Life on Earth ~ link ~
The U.S. government is delusional. Russian military and political leaders have responded to the obvious threat by declaring NATO a direct threat to the security of Russia and by announcing a change in Russian war doctrine to the pre-emptive launch of nuclear weapons. The Chinese are too confident to be bullied by a washed up American "superpower."

The morons in Washington are pushing the envelop of nuclear war. The insane drive for American hegemony threatens life on earth. The American people, by accepting the lies and deceptions of "their" government, are facilitating this outcome.

Fighting the Subversion of Our People's Sovereignty ~ link ~
As you've probably heard, corporations are now "people" -- humanoids that are equivalent to you and me. This miraculous metamorphosis happened on Jan. 21. Accompanied by a blinding bolt of lightning, and a terrifying jolt of thunder, five Dr. Frankensteins on the Supreme Court threw a judicial switch that endowed these pulseless paper entities with the human right to speak politically.

Never mind that inanimate corporate constructs have no tongue, brain, heart or soul -- the five judicial fabricators breathed unprecedented legal life into corporations, decreeing that the vast wealth held in their corporate treasuries is their voice. With a cry of "Shazam!" the court ruled that, henceforth, every corporation -- from Wal-Mart to Wall Street -- is entitled to "speak" by spending unlimited sums from their treasuries to elect or defeat candidates for any and all public offices in our land, from city council to the presidency.

By a bare five-to-four majority, the justices created an artificial, uber-wealthy, political monster that will overpower everyone else's voices. For example, just the 100 largest corporations have assets totaling more than $13 trillion. No combination of human people's political organizations can amass even a tiny fraction of that spending power.

Economic and Social Crisis in America: Burglarious Stimulus ~ link ~

So what is the upshot of all of this? There are only three logical possibilities.

· One is that the private sector be required to take on the responsibility for solving social problems, exacting severe penalties from those companies that don't assume it.

· Another is that the government abandon the view that the private sector can or will solve social problems and assume that responsibility itself.

· The third is to do nothing, making clear that the government assumes the attitude of William H. Vanderbilt who said, "The public be damned!"

I suspect that those who make up
America's power-elite would prefer the last but lack Vanderbilt's honesty. These people are, of course, evil through and through. But I wonder which alternative Mr. Volker would select, and whether he's honest enough to even confront the issue. We'll never know of course, for Mr. Volker along with everyone else in this elite class have adopted Pascal's view that "the best defense against logic is ignorance," and they maintain their ignorance by ignoring all critics.

Congressman Ron Paul Never Thunders, But He's A Lighting Rod Anyway ~ link ~
The talking heads of America are outraged at Ron Paul once again. They dismissed him in 2007, dissed him in 2008 and ignored him in 2009. And now he's got the nerve to win the presidential straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference held in Washington last weekend. The winner of that poll is often considered the consensus leader in the race for the next GOP presidential nomination.

Quite an achievement for a man who may be the single most unexciting speaker in American politics today. I mean that as high praise. The U.S. Constitution is a dry, unemotional document. And Paul, as its leading proponent in Congress, is a dry, unemotional guy.

"Virtually everything the federal government does is unconstitutional, isn't it?" I asked. "Basically, that's pretty true," Paul replied.

Carpe Diem, Dr. Paul! ~ link ~
Ron Paul's stunning landslide victory in the CPAC straw poll is an event that cannot be allowed to go to waste. Political moments this ripe are about as rare as the California condor, and Ron Paul would do us all an incalculable service if he would seize the day, and declare his intention to run in the 2012 presidential election. He needs to do this right now. Not next month, not next year, but now.

Leaked UN Documents Reveal Plan For 'Green World Order' By 2012 ~ link ~
Leaked policy documents reveal that the United Nations plans to create a "green world order" by 2012 which will be enforced by a structure of global governance and funded by a gargantuan $45 trillion transfer of wealth from richer countries, as the globalists' insidious plan to centralize power, crush sovereignty while devastating the economy is exposed once again.

As we warned at the time, the failure of Copenhagen in December did not spell the end of the global warming heist, but merely a roadblock in the UN's agenda to create a world government funded by taxes paid by you on the very substance you exhale – carbon dioxide.

Dan Coats: Military action 'only option' on Iran ~ link ~ This whore, who use to be a US Senator from Indiana and wants to return there after living for years in Virgina and working as a paid lobbyist, will do whatever AIPAC and Israel tell him to in order to get their money and support in his bid to return to the Senate. If this means blowing up the world, he is ok with that. It is worthless bastards like him that are destroying America and the world.

Listen to the heroes of Israel ~ link ~
In October, Rami and Nurit sat in the Israeli High Court while the state counsel, "stammering, unprepared and unkempt," wrote Nurit, "stood like a platoon commander in charge of new recruits and refuted... the allegations". Salwa and Bassam Aramin, Palestinian parents, were there, too. Tears streaked Salwa's face. Their ten-year-old daughter Abir Aramin was killed by an Israeli soldier firing a rubber bullet point-blank at her small head while she was standing beside a kiosk buying sweets with her sister. The judges seemed bored and one of them remarked that Israeli soldiers were rarely indicted, so it would be best to forget it. The state counsel laughed. This was normal.

"Our children," said Nurit at a rally last December to mark the anniversary of the Israeli assault on Gaza, "have learned this year that all the disgusting qualities which anti-semites attribute to Jews are actually manifested among our leaders: deceit, greed and the murder of children... What values of beauty and goodness can we squeeze into such a sophisticated apparatus of brainwashing and reality distortion?"

Rami now tells me the High Court has decided to investigate the case of Abir Aramin after all. This is not normal: it is a victory.

Reporters with Conflicts of Interest in Israel ~ link ~
Shortly after I wrote an earlier piece on Bronner, pointing out that most Western coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict is shaped by Jewish and Israeli journalists, and that Palestinian voices are almost entirely excluded, a Jerusalem-based bureau chief asked to meet. Over a coffee he congratulated me, adding: "I'd be fired if I wrote something like that."

This reporter, who, unlike me, spends lots of time with the main press corps in
Jerusalem, then made some interesting points. He wishes to remain anonymous but has agreed to my passing on his observations. He calls Bronner's situation "the rule, not the exception", adding: "I can think of a dozen foreign bureau chiefs, responsible for covering both Israel and the Palestinians, who have served in the Israeli army, and another dozen who like Bronner have kids in the Israeli army."

He added that it is very common to hear Western reporters boasting to one another about their "Zionist" credentials, their service in the Israeli army or the loyal service of their children. "Comments like that are very common at Foreign Press Association gatherings [in
Israel] among the senior, agenda-setting, elite journalists."

Geithner's Gotta Go ~ link ~ He should be on his way to a federal prison.

Would it be wrong to take out a $1,000,000 policy on your wife and then put strychnine in her double-tall nonfat mocha?

Not if you are Goldman Sachs it wouldn't. In fact--according to an article on today's Bloomberg News--that's exactly what they did. They slapped together $17.2 billion in garbage CDOs and then insured the hell out of them with credit default swaps (CDS) issued by AIG. As soon as the CDS blew up, G-Sax collected 100 cents on the dollar for their ingenuity. (G Sax received $14B altogether)

Bottom line, ex-NY Fed chief Timothy Geithner made sure that his buddies at G-Sax got top dollar for crappy CDOs and then did everything in his power to hide his tracks. Geithner's gotta go.

Greece
Delays Bond Sale Amid New Turmoil ~ link ~
The new bond deal is widely seen as a test of the Greek government's ability to raise money in the capital markets to finance its operations and retire old debt. A successful bond sale will demonstrate that the market believes either that Greece can fix its fiscal problems or that Europe will come up with an effective bailout to solve short-term worries. An unsuccessful auction would exacerbate the sovereign-debt fears gripping financial markets and could force other European nations to move more quickly to support Greece.
